Become the Ultimate Brawler in LEGO Brawls

LEGO Brawls is one of Apple Arcade’s most exciting team-based multiplayer fighting games. Create a custom minifig fighter out of a wide variety of parts and duke it out with other players across a series of large, arena-like stages.

Battle across levels burgeoning with dinosaurs, out of the Jurassic World series, or hit up a fanciful castle while you beat the stuffing out of each other. Take up arms with weird and wacky weapons, earn new parts to further customize your figure, and enjoy the pure, unadulterated fun that only LEGO can bring.

If you’re thinking of jumping into the game and testing your might against others, you’ll need to be armed with helpful tips and tricks so you can rise through the ranks. We’ve got your back, with things you need to know before letting loose your rallying cries and heading into battle.

Here are some useful tips on how to become the ultimate brawler in LEGO Brawls.

Become an item box collector

Everyone loves a power-up. Whether you're hoping for the spiky blue shell in Mario Kart or the insta-kill perk in Call of Duty: Zombies, they serve up a heaping helping of power that can help propel you to victory. It's the same in LEGO Brawls. Throughout each map you'll find a selection of iridescent item boxes just waiting for your perusal. Attack or run into one to get a random item you can use against your enemy.

Play aggressively for the arena’s center in capture the flag gameplay mode

You'll need to make sure your team takes the control point in the center of the map, so don't be shy about taking the fight there. Too often, people simply avoid getting into scuffles there because that's where all the players congregate. You'll want to stay there and unleash the "heavy artillery," so to speak, to keep that point and lock it down. Don't be afraid about playing aggressively to do so, either. You can still go fight on the periphery of each stage, but don't be shy about being in the spotlight, either.

Unlock new skins and goodies in Training Mode

We get it. You don't want to look exactly the same as everyone else when you join a new game. And you'll want to unlock new goodies as you make progress. You don't have to keep playing multiplayer-only games to get the items you need. Luckily for you, you can play Training Mode and kill off skeletons here until you're satisfied. You get an additional point added to the after-match chest, which will inevitably end up with a treasure chest for you. You can keep killing skeletons to your heart's content, and then reap the rewards by checking out all the cool pieces and gear you'll unlock as a result.

Use Flying Vehicles in a pinch

If you’ve unlocked a Flying Vehicle, use it when you think you're going to need to do some serious dodging. They let you fly into the air and carpet bomb enemies as you see fit. While you're in the air, you can easily get away from attacks too, so you can effectively attack and defend at the same time while using one. Stay in the air when you know defeat might be imminent, and avoid an onslaught. You can stay in the vehicle until it runs out of ammo or it's out of time.

Use the right gear for the job

LEGO Brawls plays like a dream across your iOS devices, including your iPhone, iPad, iPod, and Mac. While its touch controls are smooth and responsive, there's one way you can gain the upper hand against your opponent, and that's playing with a physical controller.
